When, where and what?

We (Kate Keller and Brian Blazak) are getting married!
Please join us the evening of Friday, October 10, 2025, at R Bar on Main Street in beautiful Asbury Park, New Jersey, for a party to celebrate. No ceremony - we’re doing that in September with our immediate families - just good food, drinks, and dancing. Cocktails and hors d’oeuvres start at 6:30pm, with leisurely dinner to follow.

What is the venue?

R Bar is a New Orleans-esque restaurant and bar near the intersection of Main Street and Fourth Avenue. We’ve reserved the entire place for the night to celebrate with our loved ones. Seating, bar, and dinner are all indoors, and there’s a great backyard patio for some fresh air.

What should I wear?

Cocktail attire, please. Feel free to make it festive! We want you to look great & have fun with it.

where can I stay nearby?

There a number of accommodations in Asbury Park and the surrounding area! We’ve provided links to some of them here. (There’s no official reservations or room blocks, though). Note that some hotels in Asbury proper have two-night minimums. Also, Uber/Lyft is readily available if you’re staying a little further away.

How do i get there?

Asbury Park is 60 miles from NYC, 75 miles from Philly, and is very accessible via both transit and vehicle. NJ Transit’s North Jersey Coast Line provides service to Asbury Park from New York Penn Station, or you can take the Garden State Parkway to Exit 102. Click here for directions.

What is the Parking situation?

Street parking is available on Main Street (metered) and the surrounding blocks. Limited valet service will be available, too.

Do you have a registry?

Yes, though it’s limited as we’re still rebuilding from our recent apartment fire. See here and at the Registry link at the top of this page. We’re grateful to be able to celebrate with everyone in October - the presence of our friends and family is the best gift of all.

I have a dietary Restriction. What Can I eat?

Cocktail hour and dinner will be buffet-style and include pescatarian, vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options. Let us know in the RSVP if you have another allergy or special concern so we can make sure you’re fed.
